Perhaps try to port over to this engine, but port all Fallout New Vegas and fill in the rest. Should be moderately difficult, then we could play a smooth bug free Bethesda title that was so magical to play solo. Like watch through the video, it basically states someone got the guts of Morrowind and a new engine they made n' made it compatible to Bethesda's future "engine tweaks" rather than "redone engines". Even going as far to say that we can just port stuff over given the file types are compatible with the rest of TES, more RAM usage alongside unlimited mods with better compatibility, and multiplayer support built in. So please vote Yay or Nay for what you feel. I believe this would be worth looking into most definitely.

The forum is definitely the quietest it's been in a long while. It's less active now than it was all the way back in mid 2016 when I first joined. This whole place feels like it has become weighed down, burdened by the insurmountable task of getting a stable multi-player mod working on Bethesda's sticky-taped and super-glued excuse for an engine. It's a soul-sucking, energy depleting labor of insanity that has already eaten our devs once.

We're far from dead, but it's times like these that call for change.

We have an opportunity here, not only to shift the direction of nvmp and rejuvenate interest, but double down on our potential target audience and re-brand us as the one-stop shop for multiplayer Fallout with the integration of Fallout 3 into the project. That seems all the more possible with this new engine idea. We've come much further than any other community has in developing multiplayer for Fallout, but if we don't adapt and change, other communities are going to run with this idea and our head start will have been nullified.

I hope our new dev team are brave enough to make changes, whether it's these ones or not.

Cazador. It's unfortunate Bethesda never cared about us enough to make the game we both dream. Although you're right, this community doesn't have to end it here, everyone can work together to make it a reality.
