This thread lists all canon factions to ever exist in the Fallout Universe. Yes, all of them. The list provides a good guide for starting a faction of your own if you can't come up with something yourself or just want to keep it lore friendly. All Faction names link to the Fallout wiki page detailing them. Before 'claiming' a Faction, be sure someone hasn't already started a thread about the faction on this board and no Factions with a similar name exist, as outlined in the Board Rules.

Nice list, did you made it up your own? And if so, how long did it took?

Yeah I did, only took a couple hours. The Fallout Wiki was invaluable. If you want, check out my Guide to founding a Strong Faction. That required some real work.

If they have exactly the same content then why should it matter which one people use? I don't like monobook layout and I have a wikia account, that's why I use it. Others will prefer gamepedia. Both have about the same number of articles and the quality is about the same.

Real quick, deleting the posts wasn't hiding what I said, just feel like I didn't want to say it again?
Essentially I believe the gamepedia is better, I had some bad experiences with the wikia. But it's a moot point since it comes down to preference.
Just felt like what I said in my post might have been taken too seriously is all.

I know @Goris the Grey has wanted to lead them from the very beginning so you might want to get in touch with him, but he hasn't been around too much lately.

I've detailed our alliance with the great khans in the legion handbook, and how it dissolves once our objective gets complete for the said server.

Yeah, but Mr. House is the best choice for a stable Vegas. (At least by my logic)

If no obstacles get in House's way, I can agree that House's vision can be viewed as the most progressive. Space travel c'mon that's awesome! But House's immortality is a farce. He should accept the inevitability of his death and try to create some protegees to continue his work, or simply contribute to House's vision for Vegas and humanity.

Being the sole architect is House's weakness as well as his strength. But that weakness outweighs that strength considerably. You could argue that the Courier is his human puppet if PC goes with House Always Wins, but the Courier is more of an errand boy rather thank a think-tank role. House seems content with being THE decidor for mankind, and that's foolish on the face.

And thanks I like my avatar pic too :)

True, he does need to find a replacement, but the man has survived 200+ years, and is one of/if not smartest people alive in the wastes, and given that the independence option has the problem of what if someone hacks yes man and just kills everything, then the legions problem is once they conquer America they'll prolly just collapse in on themselves after there leaders die in a struggle to see who becomes the new boss, and the ncr gots no where near enough troops to keep there borders stable past there current capacity(which even at that is a strech).

If going with Caesar, when he eventually gets too frail, he could easily try preserving himself like mr house did, to overlord the legion for another 100+ years or more, although he'd need a body double as people will wonder why he doesn't appear anymore, it just might take a lot of pre-war oxegen tanks around mr houses chamber to purify that bit of atmosphere and the chamber itself so he could be preserved safely.

True aswell, but the question is who would he get to monitor the systems, and also what about his distaste of technology and medicine. Given he does have that auto doc, but I doubt very few of his people could actually operate the pre war tech like himself since we know he did have schooling, but seems to prefer keeping such things away from his people.

It's likely without Courier intervention Caesar's brain tumor would kill him one day. Agreeing to be hooked up by artificial life support would go against all of the Legion's values. It would also mean admitting that he has a brain tumor to the world.
