Change the map to a more simple one

    The map found at http://nv-mp.com/map/ is good, but it's a bit bright and hard to make out where certain roads are.
    I think if it's replaced to show a simpler map, such as the vanilla in-game map on the pipboy, on the site, it could be much easier for users to find and pinpoint exact locations of the cap points.

    My suggestion is to extract the map from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36946/? as it's detailed, but at the same time roads are much more easier to see. It looks better too, in my opinion.

    I think the only reason the map is like that is because it was a quickly done map so you could tell where the capture-able locations are and when they are being capped. But a new updated map could be good with the inclusion of more locations since all it takes is a mod to go to said location and do a command and its a location.

    The map looks fine to me, I can make out everything perfectly. But a simpler one never hurts

    Generally just update the map via adding new locations at least

    Personally, I would like to have a higher definition map or, if at all possible, have the base capture map synced to the pip-boy map and make the entire world just fast-travel locked.


    (The second one being the harder to do, ofc.)

    Thanks for the suggestion but atm just having the thing functionnal was the goal. There was a talk of a connect the dot kind of feature where you would see the shape of the whole faction's territory.

    As for having the map in the in game pip boy, this cant really be done, but a new HUD could be done with the press of a key (It was noted long time ago)

    I like the current one but I agree that it can be a bit difficult to see places. Maybe if I took the base map into photoshop and messed with the contrast and vibrance it would bring out the light in the roads to make them more visible but also keep a nice dark to the mountainous terrain areas. That may make it easy for the eyes to see roads and passes between mountains
